Certified Building Code Official

Roger Frost is a Certified Building Code Official registered with the Ontario Building Officials Association of Ontario. Building code regulations are complex, interdependent and ever- evolving, requiring training to intrepet and apply. The OBOA is deeply involved in the creation and evolution of the building code and is a trusted training, certification and advising resource for building industry professionals.

Certified Master Inspector

All CMIs® have completed at least 1,000 fee-paid inspections and/or hours of training and education combined. All CMIs® have been in the inspection business for at least three years prior to becoming Board-Certified. All CMIs® abide by the inspection industry’s toughest Code of Ethics. Not everyone can become a Certified Master Inspector®. Hiring a CMI® means hiring the best.

Roger Frost in currently a member in good standing with InterNACHI.  Make sure you choose an InterNACHI®-Certified Home Inspector to inspect your home. Buying a home is the biggest purchase you’ll ever make. Inspect it once. Inspect it right.  Ask your home inspector questions about his Experience, Training and Knowledge prior to hiring.  When you hire your own Home Inspector you are sure he is working for you.

FREE Thermal Imaging

Free Thermal Imaging Scan provided with every home inspection.  Roger Frost was the first Home Inspector in Simcoe County to offer Thermal Imaging as part of the Home Inspection.  An Infrared Camera can help find missing insulation, hidden moisture and electrical hot spots.  Thermal Imaging can also identify areas of heat loss. See what you are missing when your Home Inspector does not provide Thermal Imaging.

WETT Certified Inspections

Level One WETT Certified Inspection price is $250.00.  When you include a WETT Inspection with your Home Inspection the fee is only $100.00 per appliance.  WETT Inspections outside our local service area are typically $300.00. During Summer Months we expand our Inspection Area for Weekend WETT Certified Inspections, covering Bracebridge, Honey Harbour, Bala and Port Carling.
